I believe once we get our stats, your trade income will be a percentage of the trade region values near your kingdom. So you might control 20% of one region, 10% of another, 33% of a third, etc. - so increasing your trade income is a combination of making your kingdom stronger within trade...

Symphony, have you corrected the alien/EXALT fast research bug in Long War? Further details here. The EXALT missions are super-duper unbalanced in beta 9, but even so I doubt they should have gauss weapons in your first mission on normal difficulty.

I'm a little unclear on initiative points; is the number (or lack thereof) of IP listed in stats a banked amount? My understanding is that since my ruler (Naples) has 7 power per the stats I should have five IP for actions, but my stats have no number in that section.
