I will test it a bit more then. Probably another mod is messing things up. I suspect this one maybe: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/unique-unit-lines.665810/
My guess is that mod is deleting and recreating the units when upgrading and for that reason they become active. I have no proof...
Thanks!
What I mean is lets say I have 10 units that are asleep, since I pressed "F" to fortify them. If I use the upgrade button, next turn, all the upgraded units are active and I have to cycle thru all of them and press "F" again.
Does not work with latest VP 4.5.1 could you please update it?
Also, a feature request: when upgrading a unit that was fortified, can it stay fortified after being upgraded?
Thank you for the mod.
Yes, it has been reported here: https://github.com/LoneGazebo/Community-Patch-DLL/issues/9523
And I also noticed the vanishing worker problem too. Also reported here: https://github.com/LoneGazebo/Community-Patch-DLL/issues/9499
Found the discord link for the person having the same problem when playing on marathon speed https://discord.com/channels/707403015845576735/721543887285387314/1049290674287157259
I guess that makes 2 people with the same problem and could be reported to github.
Edit:
This have been reported...
Maybe, but I would like to try to narrow down whats going on. Maybe I should try a game with just VP mods and nothing else and go from there. Was trying to check if any others had the same problem or any hints on what to look for. So far it seems Marathon may be one issue
> id you play on Marathon?
Yes, I am playing on Marathon. In my current game I disabled Barbarians because of the new spawn logic, but in previous games with the same mod set I was not getting xp from barbarians either
I am having a strange issue, units do not get any xp from combat, and no great generals ever spawn. I am using the same mods I always use with VP, the only thing that I think changed is the VP version, 3.0.4
Anyone else experiencing the same problem? How would I go about finding out what mod...
I noticed that barbarians now spawn anywhere, except on land owned by a civ, and to be honest, this makes the game very frustrating and rage inducing. Instead of playing a Civ game, it seems I am playing barbarian whack a mole against the rng. Not fun at all. Compounded by the unit limits that...
Using 2.2, unable to attack with bombers, the option is just not there. Would like to confirm if anyone else if having this problem before opening an issue.
