    main reason for the end of ottoman's expanding to the west was defeat in vienna and lepanto sea war.if things would be a little different there than now western europe would know Turks a lot more. i don't want to say anything about people who defines turks as or like greks,mongols or arabs...

    rome,greece,germany,france,england and portugal or spain makes the team complete.i voted for 5 to 6..however i like vikings and consider them as hot prospect for the future, they must wait for expansion.

    i played two times with greece and went straight to philosophy(for free advance and great library) and aristotle came each of these games and i hurried great library and became tech leader early.(athens became culturally leader city) i don't know if it is possible but maybe game has some secret...

    infantry needs resource and some weaker civs possibly won't have that thing and will train guerillas.guerillas can't prevent coming sipahi attacks..so you can play as warmonger most of middle and industrial ages.i think industrial age is best for GA timing.

    i played with ottomans many times,also playing current game with ottomans.estimated stat for sipahi against cavalry; attacking cavalry against sipahi:3/7 sipahi wins. attacking sipahi against cavalry:5,5/7 sipahi wins.

    i hate starting near ottomans. i began real big siege against them once.however i couldnt end the siege.i asked myself ''what am i doing to my beloved istanbul''.after this i began as ottomans for the thousandth time.
