Thanks for the help anyhow. I've been testing with a different mod. It seems to be crashing randomly in this one. I've never had civ crash like this before so I'm sure you're right it's corrupt. I'll try reinstalling later.

It has crashed again in a new game. On the turn when I was about to discover Ascendance. On this occasion I did not possess the spell of knowledge. I've attached the first save. If I end the turn it crashes just before my new turn starts. The error message is something along the lines of...
