It makes me wonder: is it possible to unconsciously use Great Farmer to place a resource on a resource you haven't discovered yet? (like oil or uranium or other "modern" resources)
I don't know if this is the right thread, but it seems like a good place for random question.
I remember in earlier versions guilds used to give free building of appropriate kind in every city, which fit perfectly, as they appeared at the time when i reach limits of expansion and want to develop...
Then you just conquer one of your neighbour cities and assimilate they're basic culture.
Also, if the limits on cultures were lifted, you'll probably have crazy multicultural country in ancient era (as opposed to later in game, which I also think is a bit of a problem)
But that way early religions (druidism/shamanism) would dominate even more, they'll be present in every corner of the world, because having any religion early is better than waiting for holy city later. Also, that way every civ could have the same religions, the only difference being who has...
That's strange. Fully developed (build every interesting building as you say) empire should be able to upkeep itself economically, and allow for expansion or war. Are you perhaps running on 100 % science?
Hey, would it be possible to add a tab in the building menu that will show only the buildings that reduce crime? (the same as with food/health/happiness etc.)
Well yeah, but leaders aren't really immortal beings, so i always sort of thought of leader traits as civs traits... I mean, if Civ had through all history have warmongering leaders, then probably warmongering is part of it's cultural heritage.
Nah, if I want to play as authentic civilizations, I play Realism Invictus (no offense).
And when i play C2C I want to create my own world and be surprised at the outcome.
That's why they lose science bonus with some technologies. But they're still part of the cultural heritage: even nowadays people write books, movies or games with fantasy creatures from the mythology, even if we don't believe in them :P
Nah, i don't like the idea. These way even desert nation couldn't really put fortified guards around the desert unless they're war veterans (or incredibly well-trained)
