Civilization VI or Civilization V with Vox Populi EUI

I like civ 6 mechanics a lot more than base civ 5. Many of them seem to have been "inspired" by vox populi actually. Civ 6 plays a lot like a board game like Catan, and is a lot of fun casually, it is also a lot more fun than release civ V, which was truly atrocious.

    Korea Photojournal: Attempt #2

That's a fun start, lots of farm triangles. Lots of good choices for pantheons here. Pasture pantheon or the wonder one are probably what I would take.

Korea Deity Photojournal: I Hope You Like Science

That's fair, I forgot about the truffles. I do like it more than mandirs though, unless I'm going for something very specific, like getting Hagia. I just thought to bring it up because I used to see it bashed a lot here. And I don't think that many people have actually tried it. It's only a bad...

Korea Deity Photojournal: I Hope You Like Science

I'd like to give a shout out to asceticism. It's not a shiny belief, but it's basically a free hanging gardens in every city which is pretty good when going tradition korea. The food comes way earlier than the beliefs which only give you only 1 yield per 2 citizens. The extra food can also be...

Italy and Germany changes for the bigger map

There's no need to add new civs to Europe. Just add independent cities to represent historically important areas like San Marino and Christiania. If we completely remove the african continent, we could have every european metropolis with over 1000 population. Wonders or projects could be added...

Aztec Write Up (Photojournal?) on Deity

Tribute is so good. Carthage is the most fun with tribute for me, spamming boats and getting easy tributes from every coastal CS on the map.

    Maya

But I like Kunas pretty much all game long, I find they're generally better than a scientist slot and that's good enough. If you mean militarily, upgrade costs are really high in the mod, and that makes keeping an updated army of slingers for example really expensive.

3rd and 4th Unique Components for VP - Official thread

I've played Netherlands and while I was initially unimpressed with the Waag, it's not actually bad. Coming a tech earlier AND costing like half the hammers is pretty huge. I find that Banking is sort of a very marginal tech, and you can ignore it for a long time as Netherlands while boosting...

    Going for Gold: Pantheons

Craftsmen's best effect is its "side effect". One :c5production: every 3 :c5citizen: is really good for tradition, India, or if you have a really food heavy start (lots of flood plains or sea resources). If you can get a religion with it, it's gonna give you a lot of hammers in mid-late game...

    Maya

I don't think the Kunas have to be changed at all. They're like spammable great person tiles. You get rare yields (science and faith) on already strong tiles (forests, jungle less so). The faith helps a lot in getting you a religion. The science helps with unhappiness, and generates a lot of...

    Aggressive AI

So, some people on this forum have taken what I said personally and decided to attack my playstyle to somehow defend their l33t gaming skills or something. I was just saying I don't enjoy fighting endless AI wars because I don't spam units to my force limit. No need to keep implying I'm a huge...

    Aggressive AI

It still doesn't know how to deal with one unit per tile mechanics, so even when it thinks it can win, it just loses a lot of hammers in units to a player because they judge him weak. I wasn't really saying they're not competitive, just that human players who play civ aren't necessarily that...

    Aggressive AI

Something like a chill AI option would be nice. I don't play super competitive and cutthroat against AI opponents, and I see no reason why they would have to be cutthroat to me either. It's why I play in lower difficult settings, since I don't enjoy stealing workers/settlers, perma raiding the...

I'm pretty sure it's unused, but really the best part about the unit is that you don't need horses, and can spam as many as you want/need (It also gets +7% attack per adjacent enemy, so you always have decent CS). The bad part is that it gets the chariot archer rough terrain penalty for movement.

It feels more like you have to vassalize every neighbor if you want to avoid pointless wars in this mod. The infuriating part for me is that every game ends up playing the same. No matter who you're playing as, or who your neighbor is, you will get attacked, doesn't matter if it's Monty...
