i agree with this trading units, it would be a fun twist to the game, and yes you should be able to trade units to countries that don't have the technology to make them... or why would they want to trade for something they could make, when they could have just made it instead of all of those...

i concur with the colonies idea that was posted first... colonies are alright, but when they get in bordered kinda pointless.

Alright I have played civ 3 gold for a while, and decided that i would be civ3 complete last night. well i was doing one of the conquest's (Age of discovery... or something like that)and i had unlocked spanish treasure, well 3 of them, but have no idea what to do with them... my civpedia said to...
