    I did Nemo's fix, and it worked. I'm no longer getting the message, and it can run on the default settings just fine. No changes from 1.00.

    I got the whole thing to work by screwing around with the animations that it was showing in the settings. I still had the message that it wouldn't work, but it did.

    I have the same problem. It was fine before the patch, and is buggy after. The animations don't work, the light doesn't show up when a great person does their thing, etc. I'm quite upset about it.

I took over three French cities with a large amount of cossacks They had a stack of ~50 infantry/riflemen/musketeer in my territory that they moved towards the weakest defended of those three.     how do you check out the other 8 leaders in your foreign advisor screen?

    Right click on any leader while holding down shift. It will show you the other civs. Scroll down to pick the leader you want.

    Capturing Cities

    I'm fairly sure that improvements that have to do with city size (aquaduct, hospital) will stay if they were built. However, to me, it makes sense that the others are gone, *especially* the ones that affect culture. For instance, let's say the AI builds a temple (presumably to its gods)...

    I like Bronze Working and/or Ceremonial Burial. Bronze Working because of the early spearmen, and CB so I can build that temple between settlers.

    Early granaries and barracks?

    I don't, either, for a while. I'll usually have at least 15 cities at size 12 by the time I get Sanitation. I'll have them produce workers (or settlers, if there's room for more cities) every other unit, and have a good rail system very quickly. After they get hospitals, I'll build granaries...
