I already told about the nukes (10-13 subs with 2-4 nukes each). But as you all tell about the conventional weapons I though I'd do that too.
In each city I have:
2 Mech Infs (3 in capitol)
1 Armor
1 Stealth Fighter (2 in capitol)
1 Spy
2 AEGIS Cruisers (if applicable) one stationed...

#135: You keep a list of all your Caravans/Freights...
Same here.. kicking AI's butt every time with superior weapons is boring. But if you let AI develop as well, maybe a bit bigger than yourself, there can be some juicy battles with two or more superpowers.. now, that's interesting! Score will be low of course, but points are just numbers..
I always build about 10 subs with 2-4 nukes each. I keep them close to enemy coastline in order to strike fast if attacked by nukes. I've never been the first to "push the button"..
Okay.. once I had some fun and nuked the whole world flat, just for fun of nuking. Didn't even bother to conquer...
I use subs only for missile delivery/storage purposes. Nuclear warfare and submarine warfare walk hand to hand. There's no sense on keeping nukes in your cities, because they'll be destroyed when the AI attacks a city with nuke. Same thing with airbases.
So spread subs all around the world...
You don't have to break treaties before attacking. Starting a war via diplomatic actions may take a bit longer but won't damage your reputation. Just keep teasing the Civ by demanding troop withdrawal even if they have no troops on your territory. Eventually they'll get irritated. Strike them...
Helicopters. They're fine all-round units but there's nothing they can do better than some other unit.
Capturing cities behind enemy lines: Paratroopers or Partisans can defend the captured city.
Sub hunting: Destroyers or Cruisers can do that job well.
Partisan hunting: I rather use...
I don't see a point in piling up gold just for.. the gold. I just keep income larger than costs. It doesn't matter if it's +100 or +1 as long as it's + something. As long as there's something to research I use all remaining resources in science.. still keeping income just a bit larger than...
Nuke is the best! No question about it. I also turn up the volume and set full bass before i launch one of those beauties.
Another cool sound is Helicopter. It gives just the right feeling.. reminds me of vietnam movies and stuff..
Dogfight sounds quite good too.
Partisans sound a bit poor...
1. Spy to knock out SAM Battery
2. Stealth Fighter to engage enemy fighters
3. Stealth Bombers (especially on islands) and Howitzers to knock out infantry and armors
4. Mech Inf or Paratroopers to conquer and defend
5. Armors to destroy partisans
All these combined make a real Blitzkrieg!
