No remedy. It's stupid, he can see enemies moving on his turn, but human player 1 can never see any other civs moves.

I'm GMT -6. I play more in the morning hours here, with the possibility of another turn or two in the evenings provided I get it. Very flexible WRT play times. Mid-late afternoon is the only down time, usually at work.
I love conquests. Rise of Rome is awesome because I don't have the time to mod for myself and I haven't ever played that era with that many cities, units, strong AI opponents.
