This really annoys me, Continents have no real seperation either like a mountain range, large sea or even a large river, they are just seperated by what seems to be a grid generated over the map at the start of the game with names assigned to zones.
I had a start as Germany on a huge map with 5 Civ capitals within 15 tiles. This was on emperor so that free settler meant that I had just about no where to settle a city, also turned out to be the best game of civ 6 I've played yet.
I really hate having a great cap but no other city sites, it...
In going to keep mine short and just name Civs.
1- Inca: My favorite civ in the franchise, being able to thrive in the mountains of civ5, growing the largest single city possible, scouting all the best terrace farm spots.
This game is not civ without the Inca IMP.

Im hoping for a West African civ personally and I'd play pretty much any SE Asian civ.

Havent had this happen to me yet, although I suspect its only a matter if time. the bugs have been great so far.
the other AI's never like me at end game, Iv'e never had the oppertunity to make alliances unfortunatly. but this was very early in the game pre turn 50, this hasnt happened to me a lot but its funny and confusing when it happens.
my own leader declares war on me... WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!
and its not the first time just look at what happened when I was trying to make Japan great again.
