Same for me on PC version of the game.... When i first want to load the save it just crashes. Might it be because i need to have some mod installed? :(

I don't really get what you mean by winning as financial, I can recall that there is no financial victory condition in Civ 5. There is one however in Civ Revolution on the Xbox360.... maybe you are mixing those up?? :P
