I think Ive figured it out. Whenever you add a unit to the units_32 pcx file the new unit must be exactly in place for the game to function. When using my old system cutting and pasting was hity or miss, and sometimes you would overlap, and the game will crash to desktop. Using paintshop pro...
yes I did point everything in the correc t direction, I think. The "warrior" was just an example of the unit I used, but I have it pointed in correct place because It shows up in the civilopedia perfectly. Its just that when I build my city, the game crashes.

For example, in the TTB I can drag techs all I want, but I cant choose between era backrounds or create my own backround (with custom arrows/paths). In the civilopedia is there a way to delete listings? So far all I can do is add entries, and when I add them I still cannot edit the Pediaicon...

Could you or someone equally familiar with the Multitool write a thorough guide to its uses? I am experienceing difficulty in using the Tech tree builder, unit creater and civilopedia editor (I dont know how to use them correctly). It would help out alot.

I have a fatal error whenever I try to build my first city. I check the civlopedia before building it, and everything seems to be in working order. I have added units and changed the names of certain units and civs. I can't seem to figure out what is wrong!

If I were to request one unit (or many) it would be the Great Worm from the Dune tales (by Frank Herbert). I have a scenario in the works and a giant worm would make it doubly worth while. Maybe some other units from the Dune books too??? If anyone is interested in creating such a unit...
