As my first game of the month its really interesting to see so many different strategies and styles of play. Looking at the maps I see a variety of choices for city locations.. What will be really interesting is what people choose to do during the Middle Ages though since up until now it is all...
Well I'm actually fairly out of Ancient Age at 30 BC. I only have a few turns to Monotheism so I'd estimate I've been in Middle Ages atleast 15 turns by the last screenshot. I think my plan is domination victory. I don't think I can win a cultural victory because we are on such a small land mass...
This is my first COTM game and my first game on Monarchy because I just started playing, but let me know what you think. I've been playing kind of slow to make sure I don't do anything wrong.. (this is on the easy mode)

random fan, I'm new and could be mistaken, but I thought the southern whale is not workable even with a max cultural boundary because it is 2 tiles due south and your citizens can't go that far?
lot of good ideas. I don't think the worker should cost money. That goes into the food for city / happiness factor. Plus, depending on the rule situation - depostism, democracy, you may or may not have for-pay laborers. I like it how it is currently personally.
I think canals would be an...
I owned the game before but had to throw it away so I could focus on college because I got too addicted. Well I'm going to go buy it again today. I know the game and expansions are all in seperate boxes (and sometimes in bundles), so which ones should I buy to have everything up to conquests...
