its all a ratio. Attack of 10 versus defense of 5 is a 66% chance the attacker wins 33% chance the defeder wins each roll for dealing 1 hp of damage (**** the last percent :) )

What does the symbol near the top right of some of the techs in the tech tree represent? Its the circle w/ a line through it (no symbol) Also how can you tell what techs from one era lead into which techs from other eras?
