I am using XP pro too, i had to do a few things to get it working OK, but now it is sweet. I had to set my desktop to 1024x768x16bit and i had to run the exe in windows 98/ME compatibility mode. Maybe u need to do this to the installer to, maybe not just thought i would tell u that it does run :)

I am having troubles loading the official world and europe map from civ3.com and cannot work out how to use it in game, i have tried loading it into the editor and trying it from there, but nout. Has anyone got any tips as to how i get these maps to work in game?
