    Yes, but I only played Civ 3 and 4. Civ IV is still the best in the series, and then V and VI made it so there is almost no need to build any naval ships.

    I have never liked the embarkation feature. Civ IV had it best, with a real navy strategy. You had to plan ahead, with your transports, having enough of them and moved to the right locations. Plus, you had to have warships to protect them, or to attack opposing navies. The AI did a great job...

    I don't have GS, but am wondering how railroads work, like the 1 iron and 1 coal per tile? Are the resources consumed, or does it just mean that only 1 tile can be railroaded per pair of resources in a turn?

    How often would you still be playing a game when it becomes available? And if you are still in a game then, the outcome is probably inevitable, so perhaps it could alleviate some boredom until that last turn ending the game.

    I've always wondered that when you create a new game for only certain victory conditions, does the AI still go for all, or does it narrow it's focus to the ones you chose?

    Well, you won't be buying it then. What do you mean there is nothing you can do to stop civs who attack city states? Why can't you march your own troops up there to defend them?

    Road building is so broken!

    At this point in the game, investing in an expensive settler and building a city from scratch in the middle of a mountain range, just so I can have a trader build a road, doesn't seem worth it. A route over sea doesn't build me a road over land.

    I have several cities on a continent, one city a good distance from the others. For whatever reason, traders will not go there from other cities, and will not leave from it, saying "No trade routes exist..." Why is that? How else to I get a road to and from this city? I know, use a Military...
