I have the opposite question: what about slow games? As I see, the hardcode limit is 1000 turns. How to strecth game from 4000 BC to 2050 AD to that limits? Any good examples?
Tried to make icon with Statue of Liberty. Could be a replace for Democracy or maybe a standalone tech (Liberalism, Human Rights etc). Also I included .zip with some other PCX. I have plans to replace all icons with AI-generated to achieve more consistent style and add some variety to game.
Does tech cost cumulate when several governments are connected to it? For example, if Radio would allow both Fascism and Communism, would it be more expensive rather than with one government?
Another idea: make some unique coastal building, increasing shields/commerce/both on water tiles, availible with "Seafaring" none-era tech, and also commercial dock/offshore platform/both obsolete by that tech. So seafaring civs would get advantage of that buildings much earlier.
