I hate the French AI, HATE them, napoleon is absolutely ruthless, shakes me down, bleeds me dry then either culturaly flips my cities or wipes me out. I thought the mongols would be more aggressive but i've just been blown away by how rotten the french ai is.

For right now the spanish have my vote, although they get navigation, it's takes ur city around 20-30 turns to make the galleon, (no making warriors/settlers etc...) and in order to really have a chance ur gonna need to find atlantis b4 anyone else, without that artifact I usually end up in civ...

everyone in the game sees the nuke animation, the city that is nuked regardless of it's size will drop to a 1. I've never nuked or defended a nuke with SDI defense, I wonder how that plays out?

i couldn't disagree with the 1st poster more, i find that military is the most difficult victory to acheive unless u are able to pull it off very early. Once your opponnents dig in defensively, ur gonna need a tons of offensive units to take a city, and likely it is gonna be costly and you'll...
