It must have been very original and beautiful Civilization thanks to Atlantis and aliens with their original technology tree, but I don't know why all the best ideas always stay only the ideas.
It isn't the same thing as if each fraction would has them. And these hybrid units and not so brilliant to wasting time while learning one more affinity to build them - it's really better to specialized in one affinity to make units stronger and increasing the army instead of weak and long-term...
I liked Civ Revolution, I like Beyond Earth, but I cann't go back to play Civ 5. So I'm waiting for the Civ 6 and dreaming for one more DLC to BE with exclusive units for the each fraction.
Apollo - is a hard level of AI, not so easy to win the game. Just sitting in the defense and improving the tech tree it isn't the way, because AI has much better benefits from the start and for sure will defeat the player by quantity of own units.
But Soyuz difficulty is really nothing, much...
I think the game is really lack of exclusive units and air units such as helicopters, which could fly over the full map, not just from the city and immediately flying back.
It was a brilliant time while was plating it, especially the emotions when started for the first. Being loved or not by the classic Civ fans I can say it's original game and I'm very proud to beat this game on the Apollo difficulty as like the made all the achievement achieved in the X-Box 360...
