Seems that way. The only other way would be to split on to two transports, but who wants to commit two to a job that should only need one? Seems like this would be an easy tweak in a patch.

And just in case anyone missed this--not only do you get goodies for being the first to ruins and burial grounds, but also by being the first to visit the chief at every native settlement.

Thanks for the replies, but it seems I'm missing something obvious. That is to say, I'll roll a wagon or ship into town, click on the load button which brings up the menu to select what to load and it only lets me take as much as the transport can carry. No less even if I hold the shift button...

Nuts and bolts question on settlement placement: Yeterday I found a hill with a silver bonus on it (a graphic of silver on the map), but when I plunked a settlement on it, I did not get the silver. When I mouse over the tile, it says the silver is still there. Bug?

I did a search, but nothing turned up. I got 150 of say, guns in town, and I want to load only 50 onto a ship or wagon. Can it be done? If so, how? I tried clicking with cntrl, shift and alt, etc. And if so, please tell how like you would an eight-year old. :) Thanks!
