I also got a new PC with Vista. While the game runs much better now than it did previously (probably do to the better processor and graphics card), I do get the crashes in later stages of the game. While I have gone to the old saving after every turn route, anyone know how to avoid them all...
No he is not. He said he gave the tech to the civ that was asking for it. a few turns later, that civ had a tech he did not have and he asked for it and got it.
The funamental aspect of a game is to win so the AI should be programmed to do just that. It needs to be able to win the game. I think that the best chance would be if the AI was designed to "play like a player".
True. But who makes the game? - Western developers who were schooled in Western Schools.

Looking at both pictures, I can see no evidence that rivers can be used as roads for travel purposes. Maybe I am just blind, but I call them as I see them.
