    how to dominate with England.

Let me give an alternative guide for how to win as England: 1. Rush Machinery 2. ??? 3. Profit! Seriously, England doesn't even need a water map to dismantle people. Longbows do the job just fine on Pangaea and land based maps.

    Strongest AI Civ Leaders?

Which AI's do you see tend to dominate your games and turn into snowballing menaces? I don't mean people who spawn beside you and threaten to annihilate you, but have little chance of actually winning the game as a whole (ie. Shaka, who tends to fall behind technologically after the medieval...

What Civilizations ALWAYS/NEVER appear in your games?

Celts seem to always spawn for me. ALWAYS. I get everyone else in an almost equal proportion. Except maybe USA. Washington doesn't really spawn often for me.

Price of everything (policy, science) depends on map size or land size?

Also note that on larger maps, unhappiness for founding cities is also decreased. On huge, for example, last I remembered I got 1.8 per city as opposed to 3 on standard.

Going from immortal to deity. (First deity win)

Part of making sure you can build it is scouting - Only civs who have temple UBs tend to build Oracle cause everybody else hates philosophy like the plague. That's why if you see Askia or Egypt in your game, you better be prepared to give up Oracle. Maya is a 50/50. Since they do get...

    [GNK+BNW] Difficulty choice

Emperor, even. Nah JK you should probably go for King first and see how it works out. I actually did a weird King -> Immortal -> Emperor -> Deity climb myself. My first few games were multiplayer games that were on King difficulty, but my friend knew what he was doing and I picked it up...

I Am Dreadful Playing As Brazil

Granted I've only played and beaten Brazil on Emperor (vote for Pedro!), I think I can give you a few pointers anyways. I restarted the map until my start wasn't completely productionless. A few things you can do - 1. Set resources to Strategic Balance. This way, once you have animal husbandry...

Going from immortal to deity. (First deity win)

QFT This just in Oracle is a good wonder. Not the best, but still stronk (and unless AI is Askia, Egypt, or Maya, very unlikely for the AI to take it :L)

    Civ5 fatigue?

Last time I played Poland on Deity continents, I spawned right beside Japan who forward settled Osaka literally 3 tiles away from my capital. He even rushed construction and built the terracotta army... Needless to say, my SV plan to get Poland can into Space achievement was sidetracked by quite...

    So sometimes I go Honor

Speaking of Horse Archers, imagine if Mongolia had them and upgraded them into Keshiks... I tried a mod of that once. It was so overpowered words couldn't begin to describe it. Although it would make a lot of sense for Mongolia to have Horse Archers upgrade to Keshiks, just history wise anyways...

Is Patronage really useful for Venice?

Consulates doesn't give you perma friend status, and the other problem is that consulates is useless if you already have say, 50 influence with a city state (which isn't too hard to do if you've been going around doing CS quests). It benefits you decently if you were at 0 / 5 CS relationship...

[GNK + BNW] Victory Choice (Warlord)

Domination obviously. If you're ahead technologically it just means you have more stuff to kill everyone with :L Besides, if you're new, you should learn to get the hang of combat and managing conquest sooner or later. It's a pretty key skill to have for higher difficulties, even when you're...

    So sometimes I go Honor

Discipline literally goes to every single unit you have - naval, ranged, cavalry, etc. Even the ones that were made before you get the tenet receive it, similar to Himeji castle. The thing is, it only affects the melee strength of every unit (so you don't get +15% strength when attacking with...

    So sometimes I go Honor

After finishing Tradition or Liberty (on Raging barbs, I might get Honor before finishing Tradition / Lib), I occasionally go to Honor and fill out just the opening and get discipline and sometimes warrior code. Maybe I'm weird for thinking this, but i think Discipline is a really really good...

Is Patronage really useful for Venice?

Agreed that Consulates is bad. But Philanthropy is still good lol.
