as an experiment I am playing a game with Huyana to figure out how useful the early religions are.
I successfully founded 6 of 7 missing out on budhism to monty, in retrospect (having read this thread) I should maybe have gone for meditation first.
The only real advantage has come from...
Completely stupid but its sorta bugging me
Why in the high scores chart in the game does it say "W-diplomatic" or "W-conquest", why not just diplomatic or conquest, what does the W mean?
thx :)
sorry I wasnt clear about the happy cap... London was bouncing between 2 and 5, but it was able to grow to that level in a couple of turns and I was chasing commerce rather than even more rapid growth ( the happy cap was 5).
I tend to go for domination / conquest the plan is to mace rush wang...
thanks for the advice,
both cities have monuments which I chopped - I'm just waiting for the border to pop, there is not much else I can build atm. since neither city is going to be research orientated there is no need for a library and a barracks will take 100+ turns without chopping...

There is...
I've been playing Civ4 for a while, but only recently got completely addicted, I've usually played as noble but just gone by instinct- essentially aiming to out-produce the A.I. though I did this without chopping or whipping.
Recently I've read the forums and been trying the techniques but...
