Is your card clocked at stock speeds? Many games lately have problems with overclocked (even slightly) cards. Mine is an e-VGA that came overclocked a tiny bit. I used coolbits to manually set the clocks to standard at startup. The card in my sig works great.

Installing the 81.89 drivers fixed it for me. I always use Driver Cleaner when installing new drivers, not sure if that would make any difference. I am now without any bugs/crashes/problems. Joy :)
