Thank you to all those who gave me solutions but it seems a simple restart of steam fixed the issue! Thanks all!

When ever the game is launch via steam the game will not load at all it will show as playing the game for a few seconds and then it will close. I have tried verifying integrity of the game cache and a full re-install neither of these have helped. Any assistance would be appreciated. Steam says...
