What are your pros/cons/questions after watching the previews?

I’ve read on Reddit that there are NO hot keys, and players can’t pan the map using arrow keys. This alone is almost a dealbreaker to me if true.

CIV 7 - Touch Screen Controls?

It’s steam deck verified now, and as I understand it the Ally has better hardware, so it should at least be playable.

Civ 7 is Steam Deck verified!

I think practically everyone here is forgetting about the touchpads, which functions identically to trackpads. Any mouse game based game is easily playable in handheld mode with the Deck. I’ve got one and actually use it docked with keyboard and mouse 90% of the time, and it’s had zero issue...

    The greatest Civ mod ever?

Just wanna chime in here: I was a big fan of this mod, and it's creator, way back in the old days for catering to the Mac community! Loved it then, and just recently I've been getting back into Civ IV so I came to find History Rewritten. Can confirm that the mod works on Steam Deck running...

Why is CIV4 still the best civ game?

Civ IV will always be my favorite, partly because it was the first Civ I was really into (though I played III as a small child who had no clue what I was doing) but one of the best qualities will always be that Civ IV was the final Civ of the era in which one could buy a complete game and that...

Best Election News You'll Read This Week

Awful thing to say about honorable sheriff Culp. Another wonderful thing about the State of Washington.

Best Election News You'll Read This Week

Hi gang, This has been an all around really awful week. Yes, Biden will probably win it (thank god) but at the cost of the most nauseating four days in recent history. In this clouded, confused, and tumultuous time, please let me share some beautiful news from my corner of the nation. We in...

    Well gang it's happened again

Damn, hey man. Girls are awesome, I like dating them, but let me tell you: If someone offered me a date with the woman of my dreams or getting the old CFC Croxis minecraft server back up in running in it's height of glory, I'd take the Croxis server again. THOSE were the days.

    Well gang it's happened again

I kinda get it, I've always felt a slight bit "coming on too strong" when I've made even the simplest possible advances, but overall I think it's a good thing to keep in mind as a man. Not to assume that every action you take is "creepy," but to be conscious of how you may be making a woman...

    Well gang it's happened again

I just wanna chime in and say that I am really enjoying reading this thread. I'll be totally honest I'm not in a particular rush to meet a woman (I've more or less made peace with the fact that the ones I find most interesting in my area have left for the cities) but it's really fun to talk...

    Well gang it's happened again

Like 20,000ish, in a county of 65,000. Pretty small but about an hour from the larger state capitol which is where we always go on the weekend lmao

    Well gang it's happened again

Well it's more or less worked three times now. Your suggestion of leading a boy scout troop to gain access to the mothers of the boy scouts is the wildest suggestion I've ever fudging heard and I'm insanely willing to try it but I can't stand kids.

    Well gang it's happened again

I love living alone but I'd do anything for my landlord to allow me to get a cat. One of my close friends and I just finally deleted Tinder. Way too much BS for me who's not that entirely motivated to try. Tinder in small towns in also incredibly awkward. We are close enough to a large city to...

Best Thread in the History of this Board?

I absolutely love the word "folks," in general but also how it's so useful and natural of a way to refer to a group without any gender implication. It's so perfectly unakward, and can be used inconspicuously when talking to Republicans and other elderly people.
