OK, I was looking in the wrong place to see what resources I had, thanks. However, I still don't understand why maceman obsoletes praetorians. Praetorians cost 45(?) and macemen cost 70.

There is iron near Cumae in the east, copper near Neapolis in the south. Both mined and connected, but not showing up in my resources.

Are mutual defense pacts of any use? I had one with George Washington for most of the game. He canceled it and Kublai Khan attacked me on the same turn. Coincidence? This was 15 turns from the end of the game if it makes a difference.
