Anyone stop to think about the effect that all this free advertising regarding the 10 year war Civ2 round? There are people finding out about this series for the first time because of it. It makes me wonder if it will give us the extra players to motivate future updates to come quicker...
yes my wife and I are still having OOS errors under patch N. We are using the same version of the game and everything. It's the main thing we wait for fixes on these forums. I haven't been able to isolate the reason but it always happens at the start of a turn.
I tested out Dll4 and finished the game on round 277 with 0 OOS errors. However, the AI players merely stayed in its town and built the upwards of 30 warriors, which I thought was weird for one that disabled regenerate map fixes. Well hope this helps. =) Thanks again for all your hard work...
Flesh Golems are fairly overpowered =) You just have to particular what you feed them.
Hawk/Parrot/Whatever (add: Flying)
Mutate a bunch of low level warriors to get light and heavy (you will benefit from the move range but not be penalized by heavy's weight because you are flying)

Strong barbs make me happy. I had my own mini mod where barbs were pretty crazy and levelled up with you. I like it that way though... it's the fun of battle without the pesky commitment of war =p
Interesting, It may be Orthus related since I seem to remember it happened after Orthus appeared. But I could be wrong in memory. I do have a save if anyones interested ... also with debug options visible I didnt see anything extra when OOS error happened.
There is a bug with regular civ BTS with Hidden Nationality. In a MOD I had made for myself I added a unit called mercenary. It had Hidden Nationality and when killed in combat would be captured.... The problem was if my explorer was on a TOWN when one was built, it would automatically do...
Tried again. The BTS version of this mod is very riddled with out of sync errors, but they don't surface until about 30-45 minutes in (you know, when it starts getting really fun.) All of the people who play this mod single player aren't going to need to worry about OOS errors but for my wife...
