Our gaming group has recently tried this with no AI players or City states, just four humans. After 100+ turns the game slows right down, even on standard map size. 5 mins+ waiting for turns with sometimes movement orders issued to units not happening for what seems like ages.
While in multiplayer... we have encountered the map resetting early on to change what resources are near starter cities when that first city is founded. Has anybody else encountered this?
I went back to CIV IV, after about 3 months of playing CIV V and getting annoyed by its many flaws.
I still think CIV V is a good game.. its just not as good as CIV IV!
I like the game and its better that it was when first released, but its just too annoying in places (like the diplomacy and AI) to make it a great fun game. Unless, of course, you just play it with friends in multiplayer.
Hopefully a patch will come out soon to fix what I and others don't...
When I give my naval units the supply upgrade, it gives them +1 movement! :crazyeye:
Is this a bug?
So far I've only come across it when playing Russians.
Its very odd, but just recently when any player (including computer ones) destroy a city in PTW, all of teh other cities of that tribe also get destroyed!
Anybody else seen this, or know why it does it?
cheers
