thanks for the welcome, yes it read fine on my other computer, I do have admin rights, this computer reads Blizzard game's cds just fine, and it is a cd drive. On the computer it worked on, it was in the dvd drive.

I recently purchased a copy of the complete edition of Civ 4. When I put the disk in my computer, nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. I tried to explore the CD under My Computer, but when the computer opened the drive, there was nothing. My computer is basically refusing to acknowledge the disk...
