Well, personaly, I love civ IV and I think it's a great game, but the end of the tech tree, in my opinion, leaves something to be desired. 'Future Tech 1' seems a little bland somehow. So, here's what I suggest: we add a 'Future' era. I don't know enough about modding to do this on my own...

I'd love to see some future era units and techs. By that I mean, continuing past 'future tech' and into stuff like biomechanical units, or something. That would be awesome.

I was in that situation once, only on Regent. What I did was defend all of my cities as well as I could, and then make alliances with all the civs on the mainland except for the most powerful Civ. From there, I went to war with the powerful civ on the mainland. All of the AI fought the war...
