Is there any way to get the science advancements to stop after a certain advancement? I want to get the game to stop before the modern era, is there any way to do that?

Hi, just have a few questions for you all. When I play the scenarios or chieftain, the players health bar actually works (ie goes down) but when I play a tougher difficulty it just shows the two troops going head to head with one dieing, no sign of health at all. Is the health there and just...
