It's great for fixing things you forgot or catching cities you put on production focus that are starving themselves before they tick of a pop point.
It's also great for doing exceedingly cheap attacks after you have 'ended' your turn.
Likewise, it is helpful to be able to counter the...
This is a sub-strategy to go along with the rest of the strategies already discussed, just make the Mohawks Disappear! Heh, here's how:
It is insanely beneficial to plant your GG as a Citadel *if* there is a clear choke or cutoff point or you fear you will lose your capital otherwise (then...
Ok, well they are out there now. Not sure how they did it, but they did. Ran into two cheats, Soldier and scott1095. They were in a 4player FFA and both of them had 3 cities on the ground on turn 12. One was Iroquois and the other Persia. Clearly, that is physically impossible on Prince...
I'll vote in your poll, but you just simply can't say which is the 'best civ' because there isn't one. You need to qualify your statement a bit more, which is the best Civ in X scenario or Y situation. Anyway, despite the barrage of rude replies you are going to get, welcome to the forums...
It's NOT crying Tommy. Crying would be me mad because I am being beaten by them. This is FRUSTRATION because I BEAT THEM over and over and yet they STILL insist on doing it.
*IF* they were winning, then it would be crying. They are most certainly not winning against me, just the noobs they...
Ok, let's set the record straight:
Let's see it straight here: This is a troll thread, and we don't appreciate having such threads here.
1. ANYONE age 3-11 can build 20 Mohawks in multiplayer, get the free great general and rush their neighboring civs and usually win (because the mohawk is...
What Mishi said is correct, he will have at least one coastal city, probably more (as proven by his warships). If you can gain the advantage on the water, ships reduce coastal cities very quickly through bombardment. Then any land unit can take it from the water in 1 shot (even a darn scout)...
Well, I'm not a fan of upping the difficulty through the 'level' settings personally. The AI is the AI, the only difference in the difficulty is what effect YOU and how much free crap the AI gets in the start.
What makes for a better game (again in my opinion) is to up the number of AIs on...
Well, now it has everyone up in arms too. They need to fix it fast. In probably 4/5 games I play I get the GL first (before turn 26) only ever losing it to Egypt with marble. Last night was playing with a guy named 'noob-seeking-missile' and he freaks sh*t on me for cheating saying my gold...
How about some realistic future wonders?
Spaceships? Are you serious, have you seen world budgets lately? The first one with a spaceship is going to be Bronson because no government is going to give money to that. NASA just got a nice slap on the wrist and even they don't have spaceships...
You know, scouts don't actually cost gold do they? The warrior you start with definitely does, but if you build a scout, or two, and hold your mouse over 'unit maintenance' it is still only 1... which is your warrior. Perhaps there is a certain number of units you can have under that 1 gold...
Ok so I know most of the changes were made with balancing in mind, but good gosh the french are stupid over-powered now on the start if you know how to play them. I mean, I know it is their unique civ ability, but it is just stupid now because of the powerful tech trees.
Assuming quick game...
