I just got a new copy of Civ 4 and I need some help. I got enough money to buy a coulpe units and improvement, but I am not sure how. It doesn't seem to be quite the same as doing it in Civ 3 What do I need to do to be able to buy stuff if i have the money?

I have a bunch of trainers for Civ III, including the Power Bar 2 for the Civ III patch v1.29f, but today I got PTW at my local Wal-Mart and what did I find to my dismay but that NONE of the trainers will work for PTW. I DLed the v1.04 patch for PTW too but still no dice. Is there anyone...
