The Greeks - Alexander the Great

According to your point of view the Roman empire wasn't roman since the Romans settled many colonies across their vast multicultural empire and because they mixed themselves with the native populations and incorporated foreign cultures into their own.So again according to your point of view...

The Greeks - Alexander the Great

Politicaly they were similar to Sparta,Syracuse,Epirus.Culturally they were similar to the rest of the Greeks. They had symposiums, they worshipped the same gods etc.The nobility spoke attic greek.A curse tablet was found and it shows to us that the common people might have spoken a doric...

The Greeks - Alexander the Great

I'm not mixing the terms,I know they are different.I just consider the hellenistic kingdoms and Macedon to be greek just as I consider Mycenae,Massalia,Cyrene to be greek.

The Greeks - Alexander the Great

The Athenians considered even the Doric Spartans barbarians because of the way they talked.Generally the ancient Greeks considered barbarian whoever they didn't like. The Macedonians tried to force their rule south towards the independent city-states and they were hated for that. Many Athenian...

[R&F] First Look: Robert the Bruce | Scotland

Although I have nothing with the Scottish people and their Celtic heritage I'm kinda dissapointed with this inclusion because it simply means that the odds now for the ancient Celts are small.I want to believe that they will add an exclusive "ancient" Celtic civilization in the game like the...

    Zulu Confirmed?

The phrase HeroDeath is found in two other lines and both of them are pointing to units(Redcoats,Warrior Monk). So it's safe to assume that it's Impi and not Lmpi.Besides what kind of unit would be named Lmpi.

    Zulu Confirmed?

I don't know if this has been seen before but as I was searching the Persia and Macedon files I found the word Impi in an animation. It's in platforms>windows>BLP's>Shared data. This probably confirms that the Zulus are in RF.

[R&F] R&F Cultural Styles Preview in Asset Editor?

They should have added the Picts or the Gauls instead of the medieval Scots.Shame we will never get a proper ancient celtic civilization in Civ 6.
