Seriously though, I'm not exactly sure why it seems to keep dying out. It seems like there are a lot of people still interested, but no one seems to want to do anything.
Unfortunately, actually writing a constitution is something I'm not very good at. The best I could offer would be to take the old one from Civilitas and alter it a little, which I assume would not be what we want. (If I'm wrong, however, tell me and I'll get right on it.)
I agree full-heartedly with all of Splime's recommendations. They are definitely the way we need to go if we want to see this thing get off the ground. (City and provincial governments was just taking the whole thing too far, too fast.)
I also agree with ArneHD. 75% is about all we can ask for...

I wouldn't change mine. On a lot of forums (The America's Army and the Keenspot ones in particular,) I can't get this one, so it was really a surprise for it to be available. So....I'll stay.
Just a note, I will probably re-found the ION party. (re-found, not continue.) The positions and such will get a going over and revision for the new 'parliament'. I do agree, however, that we need to start fresh. (Hence the term: re-founding.)
I had an idea a while back that I think will prevent another incident like that one. Basically we establish ground rules for calling a 'vote of no confidence' in an inactive GM. Possibly have requirements to be met first (Number of inactive days, etc.) and then require at least a majority vote...
