You know, I never took that chance. Infact, I'd do the exact 1st half of what you've said here, but I do it with the primary intention of preventing a threat from declaring a war on me. So far it has helped, but I dont know if it is an air-tight plan.
Do you really think that going to war...
I looked up the list of thread titles and I cant find what you're talking about.
I'm sorry if I'm been a n00b about this, but the guy just wanted to share his knowledge.
Just putting in my vote.
I LIKE !
Most nations follow this idea of sending around surplus food to states with a shortage, even here in India.
Infact nations should even be allowed to DONATE food on a turn basis just to improve relations!
If this does happen, it will need to be released as a separate version for adults ofcourse.
But if drugs, why stop there? The options are plenty!!
Tobacco !
Alcohol !
All massive businesses and LEGAL !
Perhaps you're right.
That does sound like an option that should be made available at the "Advanced Setting" with setting up the game.
Like, "No Financial Aid to City-States".
Although, I personally prefer avoiding wars.
Unfortunately, Civ5 I feel, favors wars over diplomacy.
It would be nice if we were able to set a limit on the era up to which all civs can progress.
Instead of just being able to choose from which to start.
I think that's some sorta glitch.
Many times after my last unit of the turn has completed a task I set for it, the message "a unit is waiting for your order" remains for another 3 seconds or so even after he's done. Very frustrating.
Exactly !
@Suspiria
You're absolutely right on this one. Micro-managing should be a matter of choice and should not be forced on us.
This improvement could easily save an hour of our day :p
I believe the button that comes up at the end of the turn should be highlighted in a different unambiguous colour and accompanied with a more distinct sound effect.
Many times I've found myself wasting 5-10seconds, under the impression that the "Please wait" was still in progress.
