Yes, fixed by a reinstall. Phew.

I`ve narrowed this problem down now. The crash is caused when the diplomacy screen tries to open with a modern era Babylonian. Has anyone else experienced this? I assume there must be a corrupted file somewhere. Perhaps a reinstall will correct it.

You only need a worker to build a colony, but a settler to build a city. This may be useful for a short time very early in the game, but as I think most people have found out, they are probably a waste of time. An attempt to bring a new dimension to gameplay that didn`t really work?

I have a game that I can`t get past AD1786 on. At the end of the turn I'm told my supply of incence has been lost, and when I click OK I get a windows error and the game is shut down. I`ve tried playing through from a save 6 turns earlier, but the same thing happens at this point each time...

I don`t have any problems running your firstproblem file. I played it for 5 turns and no crashes. The second one is supposedly caused when a settler is left when a civilization is destroyed. Interestingly the English were wiped out a turn into your first save. Related problems maybe? Martin
