This worked from what I can tell. I was able to properly load into my game again and I played maybe 20 turns without it crashing before I stopped. Thanks for your help!!

Update: The screen now goes black before I even get the chance to click continue/begin game. I get The picture of the leader and the Sean Bean narration, but I can go no further before the problem happens again.

I've never had this problem with Civ V, but then again I was running windows 7 until like last week. If you can figure out how to update them and it works, would you mind posting how to do it here? I'd be really grateful!

Yeah I think my fan is working properly and my card isn't overclocked. I have an AMD graphics card, but as I'm running this through bootcamp I can't install the latest drivers. Might this have something to do with is?

So, I'm about halfway through the game and Every 10 to 15 turns or so, the screen will go black. The music and sounds keep playing, and I can move the mouse around, But there aren't any graphics. Anyone know waht might be wrong? Thanks in advance.
