    Stealth Bombers...

Sure, I get the balance concerns, but if there's nothing about the current implementation that in any way indicates "stealth", it should probably have another name. It would be like naming a land unit "Battleship", but then saying that it can't travel through water for balance reasons =P

    Forge=Spaceship production boost

Yeah... I was surprised when I found out that the parts were treated as units too. My first spaceship victory was on a pretty large archipelago map. I was very sad when I realized it would take an extra 15-20 turns to move my spaceship parts all back to my capital.

Isnt every city a gold city?

I don't have the hammer costs of all of the gold buildings off the top of my head, but at first thought depending on how much time is left in the game, building banks/stock exchanges in very low gold cities might be barely better than just producing wealth (if at all.) At least with wealth you...

What is the story with Railroads?

Is anyone positive how the harbor-railroad connection works? I could have sworn on my island game that I didn't get the bonus in all my harbor connected cities as soon as I got the railroad tech. I think I had to build a railroad connection from my capitol to a different city with a harbor in...

    Protect City State Quests

Has anyone else had this problem when trying to go to war to protect a city state? Rival Civ declares war on neutral city state. City state asks for assistance (specifically, kill 5 enemy units) I declare war on rival civ and start sending my army to assist. I kill 1 or 2 enemy units to...

    Songhai UA... Invincible embarked units?

How do city damage bonuses work with civilian units? Aren't there structures that increase the attack of cities, and I'm pretty sure there's a policy that does something similar. Do these affect the 4 damage to civilian units? Actually come to think of it, I really have no idea how city...

How to play with a massive number of cities

I haven't actually tried this yet or done the math, but I had a pretty large empire playing as Arabia last game, and I'm pretty sure when I looked at my happiness calculation late game as my cities got big, the happiness penalty for population was still much worse than the penalty for number of...

Marble - does it help with wonder building in CiV?

So can mulitple overlappying cities both get the marble bonus simultaneously?

    Cultural Victory - 1838 - Emperor - France

I don't think thats really fair though. Exploiting clearly broken mechanics is kind of lame sure, but there are so many arguably broken mechanics that I'm not sure its reasonable to just not use them. Civ is a strategy game, and so when I play I want to make my choices based on whats the most...

India seems to be a very strong civilization

I really don't like the way %'s are handled in this game. So often its just not clear what they mean. What I assume is going on with India here is that there's some "base" unhappiness value due to cities. Lets assume that in this case its 10. India gets +100% unhappiness, so thats going to be an...

    City State Permanent War?

Haha  I'll rephrase: "but I don't ALWAYS want to commit to a conflict that will only end with my rival being completely destroyed. " Between culture, science, and cultivating city state alliances, its fun to do peaceful stuff too. I wouldn't have a problem at all if my opponent was...

    City State Permanent War?

Ugh... lame. Not a fan of that. It feels like my ally city states (whom I based my strategy around) are just committing suicide for no good reason. My rival civ even apologizes to me for fighting with them. Does this actually make sense to anyone? I get that the city states should be very...

    City State Permanent War?

I've been having some frustrating problems with my ally city states going to war with other nations and not being able to figure out any good way to get peace. Several times I've had a really good relationship with a city state between me and my rival. Eventually, it seems like that city state...

The "joke unit" is totally imbalanced

I agree that against the AI they're just stupidly good once you get them. To me they effectively almost feel like an entirely separate victory condition. I'd like it if you could disable them similarly to how you can disable cultural or diplomatic victories. I think sometimes I'd rather just...
