Well, I'm going to take a look, see if there is a setting to "turn off time victory". I'll post back here with the results. Thanks for the idea.

I've just recieved an announcement on screen that the game will have a "Mandatory Retirement" at a certain year....I think it is 2050. That feels like SUCH a ripoff. I've invested many hours with my civilization, building it up to approximately the WW2 era. I have Civ3 and Civ Conquests...
