It may not be a bug, but it is annoying as hell, and sure seemed like a bug until I read this thread. When hitting Escape, it should switch to a loading bar. This lets the user know, hey were not sucking up resources playing this movie, full speed ahead on loading the game.

I notice the same thing, but I'm using Windows XP and a much older computer, so instead of just slowing down, I get to a point where I have several cities and trade routes, I start to see graphics tearing, then my machine just crashes. Restarting works for a few to several more turns, but then...

Maybe the intent was that you have to buy a Galleon to be able to transport treasure, regardless of slots available? I think it adds something to the fantasy... a big, slow, ship, just waiting to get hit by pirates.

Still getting this bug several turns later... always happens when going to the Domestic Advisor screen, then clicking Exit. Is this a known issue?

I was viewing the warehouse, then exiting the screen when the crash occured. I may have gotten around the crash though... I just didn't go to that screen on that turn, went to next turn, and now not seeing the error. But, if anyone views this savegame, are the graphics bugged out, or is it...

My current game is crashing every time I exit the domestic advisor screen. Haven't had any problem with crashes after several days of playing, using Dale's patch mod 1.01 here... Loving the game so far, please help!
