Obama no-nukes pledge not so farfetched

They'll need it for themselves to fuel the tanks. And why stop at Urkiane? Finland and Sweden are close and are full of resources. For China, dozens of possibilitys open up without anyone checking them with nukes. Some people just don't understand how nasty these nations are.

Obama no-nukes pledge not so farfetched

I wasn't joking. People are too used to thinking of nuclear weapons as a cure-all. Without them, say good bye to Eastern Europe, and many Asian states as Russia and China go on a eating spree.

to the people who oppose the death penalty

Bad guys get killed, good guys don't. Simple as that. Or at least, in a world where people didn't care about bloodthristy criminals so much.

Versus Yeah,ok  I'm sure Eastern Europe will win.

    Multiculturalism?

This, unless the other culture is one similar to your own. Then its ok.

The best way to decrease gun violence is to outlaw guns for civilians

People should have the right to overthrow thier goverment. Having guns is a big part of that. Just because Europe is happy to be taxed to death, doesn't mean Americans should be.

When does a dictatorship/police state begin?

When your nation elects a charismatic man of foreign origin to 'lead us' in a time of grave crisis. When your nation adores this man and gives him whatever he wants, and ignores things he says that don't fit into what they want to here. No not Hitler. Think more recently.

Obama no-nukes pledge not so farfetched

Obama is very naive. Without nukes, Russia would invade Europe.

    Rush Limbaugh GOP leader ?

I don't listen alot but it seems that he isn't afraid to say what needs to be said. too many liberals are scared of 'hurting' peoples feelings. This Rush fellow seems to be a straight shooter. this could attribute to his popularity

    Death Penalty

Not very respectful. Or on topic. I was merely defending my opinion. I all i saw was you waffling all over the place..

    Censoring or banning books

@Godwynn I've never thought about it that way before. Very interesting. (and while i admit) You've shaken me a little bit, wouldn't there still be times when you don't want certain books in your local library?

    Censoring or banning books

Mainstream, American culture, although it would shift on the area.

    Death Penalty

That's really not my problem. You shoudln't be going after those who are trying to uphold your point of view.

    Censoring or banning books

@ Godwynn Good points, but where is the trade of point? Between letting kids read (lets face it) dangerous texts, and having them learn about world history? I think we can do without kids reading some of these books, cause it isn't worth it.

    Censoring or banning books

Well, in areas where you have alot of Muslims. Sure. Otherwise? Why would we? The nation is not founded on its principles so the 'Bible' angle doesn't hold, and religious works are usually dangerous as I've said before. ? @holy king probably until they leave high school....but i suppose you...
