I tried the UCC d/load but when run it 'could not find a copy of civII multiplayer gold edition installed' Mmmm strange indeed. So now i've had no joy with either the 'gold' version d/load or the UCC. Thanks for the replies, i guess i'll stay as i am. regards tic

Hi. At the top of the page it shows ' ultimate civilisation II 5.3 of multiplayer 1-feb-99 patch 2'. So again does this mean i have a version of civ II that incorporates the updates that were in V 1.3? I am not familiar with the additions that are in V1.3, so i am still in the dark. tic
