Mountain Coast is good I think but doesn't really match the "more water" criteria, maybe world of erebus with high water level, or god forbid, archipelago.
Actually just had a cursed idea, Kurioriates Tower victory on archipelago map (flat) with like 6 lanun civs and raging barbarians.
I very conveniently got to copy paste the roster from pholk's last post :D
Roster
Ozbenno >> On Deck
King Bulrush
pholkhero
Tinadafish >> just played
PPQ Purple >> UP NOW
Clean up duty goes harder than expected, turns out elves are a very defensive bunch indeed, made all the harder now that our siege trains have been ransacked and no one in our empire knows how to cast fireball. No matter, plenty of cities got burned down...
I kept Thariss because it had...
Clean-up duty without haste is the real challenge of this run lmao.
It was dicey at a few points iirc, maybe the next one (if there's a next one) the difficulty could be bumped up a bit, not too sure the AI handles always war too well either.
Idk it looks like we're making plenty commerce and cash right now, losing only 8 gold a turn at 60% with over 2k in the bank is sustainable for the foreseeable future, all those towns and hamlets lying around are full little piggy banks too we just have to break them.
We're off to a bad start, what with the death and disease and all...
Turns out we're broke as well...
But at least we have our friends right?
Besides our money troubles, our soldiers are fighting through literal hell on Earth
Valin proved himself a hero and slew Hyborem for the final time not...
Picked up the save, I'll try and play it tomorrow evening or saturday, I think consumption might have been a better shout than social order even though it's quite out of character, our cities are very food poor and can't really benefit from the increased happiness at the moment.
I'm firmly on the side of razing them which is why I was pillaging all their towns for quick cash, but I didn't take any cities my turn so you could turn course if you want.
I only played 10 turns this time round but they were pretty packed. We researched taxation and that unlocked two pretty powerful civics, Republic and Caste System, and it might be a good idea to swap into either or both of them soon. I thought it best to leave it up to the group to decide...
Personally I'm all for razing them and the rest of our enemies into dust. I picked up the save and will play tomorrow, give us time to discuss war strategy, tech wise I think engineering, sanitation, smelting and ironworking should be next, stack composition wise I think we should focus on...
Did you spot hemah or saverous anywhere?
Edit: Just noticed in the screenshots the extremely big brained Svart AI has converted from octopus overlords to fellowship of leaves which means we don't have to worry about these two anymore. I thought AIs only switched to their personality's favourite...
