    Dont be so overly sensitive. You didn't give Civ5 a chance then? Or what is your issue with my wording? Do you seriously argue that combat in Civ5 or CivBE with 1UP works? That AI can do it? Is that even a disputed question anymore? That can be explaind, i think, by what many of my friends...

    Verdict: "its dead, Jim". Yes, thats my final verdict. Look, we gave Civ5 a chance...didn't work. We gave the DLCs a chance, 2 years of optimizing...it didn't work. Firaxis gives us CivBE...and it didn't do anything to 1up OR combat-AI. What else could the verdict be then "its dead, its done...

    @mitsho thx, i will try that. I have no problem editing files directly, i just didn't find the right file yet. @bc1 yea, because thats the solution and only affects starting units...oh wait.

    is there an easy way to reduce how many units the AI starts with? its just too much atm, they attack basically straight away if you play with high AI-density on a map. i also don't like beeing forced into military gameplay only in every game just because they have 5:1 odds at the beginning...

    ah, thx for the answer, i just found out by myself, had to weed out the modlist. didn't think of it at first as UI-mods (willliamhoward) always worked fine with CEP. thx for the answer, you nailed it right away ;)
