i just got civ 4. . . during the game (from the start) all the land is black (even places I have already been to) the place that my unit is on or near or that is within my cities boundaries is completely black. I can see any resorces on top of it like cows or trees, and if i put the cursor on it...

WHenever I get into the middle ages and I have like ten cities, I am pretty m uch just waiting for new science stuff, so I build a lot of unitd because that all I can do, if im not at war, should i do this or just generate wealth? Or should i do something else?

What is unit cost? when you go to the financial advisor one of the things is unit cost. For me its always really high but i have no clue how to lower because i dont know what it is!
