Civ3 on Earth. Accurate world map, accurate resource placement, correct startsites.

I agree with build time advantages as I think it compensates for the A.I not seeming to use terrain in a city radius very efficiently. However the starting units is something im not so sure, particuarly in this mod. Think about how close the European civs are to each other, and how aggressive...

Civ3 on Earth. Accurate world map, accurate resource placement, correct startsites.

I agree that the feature shouldn't need to be there but, as it is I was just wondering whether by adjusting it the A.I cam be made to trade just as unreasonably with each other as they are with the human player because I don't think there is any way of changing how the A.I trades with the human...

Civ3 on Earth. Accurate world map, accurate resource placement, correct startsites.

Does anyone know how much of an effect adjusting the A.I to A.I trade rate slider has? This is something that affects the game ( not just this mod) quite badly IMO. I don't mind that the A.I don't offer very reasonable trades its just that they are far more willing to give to the A.I rather than...

    my first Civ3 conquest victory

Conquest and domination are the 2 victory conditions that are far more difficult the larger the map/ the more opponents. As well as that conquest is also far harder if the landmasses are islands as opposed to 1 big pangea

    MAP: Warhammer, Old World.

If you wanted to do a huge, whole world version, you could start be modifying an existing world map (i'm sure most of the authors would let you if you asked) as I think the old world design was based off our world. Not only that but if you wanted to turn this into a full mod many of the civs...

Civ3 on Earth. Accurate world map, accurate resource placement, correct startsites.

In the last monarch game I played I won in 1804 (space race) however this was with only 10 A.I civs so that might have affected it. One thing I have noticed though- is there any way to make the A.I a bit more aggressive, apart from the militaristic civs the A.I seems to hardly ever declare war...

    E3 2002: Jeff Morris Interview @ Gamespy

I wonder if they are going to add a new civ attribute in addition to religous, commercial, etc so that there will be less repeated combinations with the new civs? E.g 1 more attribute allows 6 more combinnations Aside from that the XP looks very good, there some imaginative features in there

Poll: Which civ do you HATE the most (to play against)?

Number 1 evil civ has to be the germans, i once played a game where they kept demanding tributes, eventually i refused and they declared war, no big deal i thought (they were the other side of a huge continent). This was in the middle of the ancient age. Next thing i know its about 5 advances...

Civ3 on Earth. Accurate world map, accurate resource placement, correct startsites.

Uh oh, I think something went wrong: The first time time I used the CPF sucessfully ( I think) I tried to run CIV3 (sos I could get into my new game ) and got an error message when loading CIV3: CIVILIZATION3 caused an invalid page fault in module ~DF394B.TMP at 016f:100586b8. Registers...
