Kinda off topic, but I was playing the zulus today and was surprised to see that the impis were upgrading to riflemen. Shouldn't they upgrade to lancers since they replace the pikemen?

Well I'm probably in the minority, but I have dozens of wins on immortal and deity, yet I don't have this achievement. I've simply never played on king. I'm sure a lot of civ 4 veterans went straight to the higher levels since civ 5 is pretty easy in comparison.

You're doing something very wrong if you can't out-science the AI on king. I can't say more without seeing screenshots of one of your games.

Meh, you get hammers from forests, but lose the 10% hammer from the workshop. Maybe I've just been unlucky with the Iroquois, but most games I didn't get that many forest tiles. It's still better than the workshop, but I'm pretty sure the Bazaar is a lot better for production if you use all the...

C'mon now, many UBs are thrash compared to the Bazaar or Pyramids.

From my experience on Immortal, Brandenburg gate is easy to get, even if you don't beeline it. However, Alhambra is really hard to get, most games the AI gets it before I even finish the tech.

Start bias, sure. Legendary start is pretty much cheating since the AI always drown in happiness by default, but it's a huge help for the player.

Yeah, the Bazaar is amazing. The mayan UB is insane early in the game.

I feel like the AI really slows down during mid-late game on immortal, they get into a war with another civs and it seems like they don't have any units for the rest of the game. This is on standard. Same thing for tech, after a while it seems like they just stop teching, I can be several techs...
